Our Founders
Dr. Shaiil Gupta MD
Dr. Shaiil Gupta, a board certified dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon, is the founder and managing director of Satya Skin and Hair Transplant Clinic, Delhi. He started pursuing his passion in the field of hair restoration in the year 2000, after finishing his graduation from the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi. He then went on to pursue his post graduation in the field of dermatology from the famous Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi. While working in these premium organizations, he not only acquired a vast clinical knowledge but also developed qualities like compassion, empathy, honesty and hardwork.
Dr. Shaiil has had a world class exposure of different medical and surgical advancements in the field of hair transplantation across the globe as in Dubai, Itlay, Thailand & Korea, to name a few. Dr. Gupta, to his credit, has done over 15,000 hair transplant surgeries and more than 1500 repair surgeries that include FUT, FUE, Body Hair Transplant, Synthetic Hair Transplant. He is among those few surgeons in the world, who have mastered the use of all the varied techniques of hair transplant. He aims to widen the dimensions of facial aesthetics and set new standards in India, thereby giving a new meaning to the word “Beauty”, wherein he works towards making his patients beautiful both inside out.
Dr. Shaiil is a member of various Indian & International organizations like American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Association of Italian Medical Implantologists (AIMA,Italy), Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL), Cosmetic Dermatology Society of India, Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India (ACSI) etc.
Apart from the tons of academic accolades to his name. Dr. Shaiil Gupta is also a subconscious healer and very firmly believes in awakening the power of subconscious minds of people around him. This enables him to motivate his patients, especially the victims of bad hair transplant. He believes in taking his patients through a soulful journey from “self denial” to “self acceptance” and finally helps them reach the stage of “self love”. Dr. Shaiil has a multi dimensional personality. Besides being a skilful surgeon, he is also a musician, writer, singer, and composer. This gives an artistic edge to his hair transplantation work as compared to his contemporaries.
Dr. Shaiil Gupta, through his academic and surgical skills and various humanitarian virtues, believes in not just merely treating the disease but also healing his patients by improving their self confidence and thereby uplifting their overall mental & physical health.

Dr. Ruchi Agarwal MD
Dr. Ruchi Agarwal, a board-certified dermatologist is co-founder & MD at Satya Skin and Hair Transplant Clinic, Delhi. She has done her post graduation in dermatology from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College & GB Pant Hospital, Delhi. With an experience of more than 20 years, she has had a world-class exposure to different medical & surgical advancements in the field of both clinical and cosmetic dermatology. She is well versed in all the dermato-surgical & Aesthetic procedures. She is a life member of various national & international dermatology organisations like IADVL ( Indian Association of dermatologists, venereologists, leprologists), ACSI (Association of cutaneous surgeons of India), to name a few.
Since her earlier days of practice, she has always kept her patients’ interests above her own. Besides Satya, she has also worked as a consultant dermatologist at Max Hospital, Pitampura and also rendered her services at various charitable organisations.
Besides being an accomplished dermatologist, she is also a wonderful, warm and compassionate person. She considers counselling a huge part of her consultation and focuses on the root cause of the skin & hair conditions that her patients are facing. She believes in scientifically customising her patients’ treatment plans so as to strike a perfect balance between their requirements and expectations. Her empathetic nature and affectionate personality helps her patients to heal faster. With her impeccable knowledge of this field, she leaves no stone unturned to treat her patients.

THE STORY OF SATYA
Satya was founded by Dr Ruchi Agarwal and Dr Shaiil Gupta in May 2005. The clinic was named after Dr Ruchi’s mothers name Late Mrs. Satyawati, who had always been an inspiring mother & was university topper at the time, when it was even a big struggle for a female to get education. The principles of Satya(Truth), values, commitment, compassion, kindness & Love just came naturally to us.
At the beginning of journey we were not even aware that these guiding principles will become our life one day & we will be living it every single moment of our life.
It’s been quite a journey since then & a true roller coster ride. Lots of joys, happiness, moments where we could become a part of the journey of self love for us as well as for millions of patients, who became part of Satya family.
